minsterman Posted August 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2012 We are sailing on Saturday (1/9/12) on Brilliance from Copenhagen, and also have our eye on a Celebrity Equinox trip from Fort Lauderdale in December. A few questions: 1) Can you book Celebrity cruises onboard RCI ships? 2) Can you buy a future cruise certificate for Celebrity on RCI? 3) Is it cheaper to book onboard than booking online? Would it be best to buy a FCC and then book on our return getting OBC anyway by booking direct and then using the FCC to get the extra OBC too or would we get just as much OBC if we book it all onboard? If you book on board is it all in US$ or can we book in £?? Any experience of booking onboard that could help... Thanks

Thanks You absolutely can book a Celebrity Cruise or purchase a Passages certificate (the equivalent of RCCL's Next Cruise certificate).or vice versa. You get the same OBC whether you book on the ship or purchase the certificates. Can't answer whether it's US $ or not. Hope that helps.
Clarea Posted August 19, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2012 We are sailing on Saturday (1/9/12) on Brilliance from Copenhagen, and also have our eye on a Celebrity Equinox trip from Fort Lauderdale in December. A few questions: 1) Can you book Celebrity cruises onboard RCI ships? Yes 2) Can you buy a future cruise certificate for Celebrity on RCI? Yes 3) Is it cheaper to book onboard than booking online? Same price Would it be best to buy a FCC and then book on our return getting OBC anyway by booking direct and then using the FCC to get the extra OBC too or would we get just as much OBC if we book it all onboard? Either way, same effect. You can't double apply the FCC to a cruise booked on board. If you book on board is it all in US$ or can we book in £?? Can't help with this one. Any experience of booking onboard that could help... Thanks See answers in RED above.
