Convenient Store near Cape Liberty

Is there a grocery or convenient store near Cape Liberty, so we can buy some bottled water and some snacks? Thanks for any info.

If I'm not mistaken, you're flying into LGA and then taking either a shuttle service or private car service from there to Cape Liberty.

 

There are no stores within walking distance of the cruise port. There is a shopping center down the road from Cape Liberty, which I believe has a supermarket. That won't do you any good if you're on a shared ride shuttle because they won't make any stops other than their destination at Cape Liberty. If you have a private car service they'll take you where you want to go, but additional stops will cost additional money...so a side trip to the shopping center will not be covered under the fare you've been quoted. Each car service has its own policy on how they compute the additional charges.

yes there is a stop & shop located in the south cove plaza near the pier.....very close....not walkable (the drive into the pier is 2 miles long.....:eek:)

 

would not take more than maybe 15 minutes if you're a fast shopper...provided you can arrange to stop...

If you get off of the Turnpike at exit 14A, make a right at the traffic light and there's a quik chek. It's easy to get to Rt 440 from there.
