Carnival Shuttle TO Miami Airport

Does any one know if the shuttle you can book thru Carnival that takes you to the airport after your cruise leaves early enough to make an 11:25am flight? Or would we need to arrange our own transportation for an early flight?

According to Carnival's FAQs, the earliest flight departure is 11:30am.

Take a cab because if you use Carnival transportation they do not leave until the bus fills up.

Definitely take a cab. It would also be helpful if you did self-debarkation. That would get you off the ship, into a cab and to the airport earlier and hopefully before the check-in and security lines start getting bogged down.

Does anyone remember the cost of a taxi for two to the miami airport from the cruise port? also are there plenty of taxi's waiting? We ususally have our car or a shuttle to a hotel this time we are flying home at 12:05

The taxis will be lined up outside the terminal.

Take a cab. They will be waiting for you and will be much cheaper. Also no wait. We walked out of the terminal and into a cab right away. Flat rate to the airport of $25 per cab.
