Week after week I write a "thing"

Hoping you'll come in and sing

 

I have a loss today and I'm happy as can be

Other's might sing..stayed the same even thro good to a t

 

Some might sing softly and say

Had a gain but will get on plan today

 

What ever tune you sing "Guy's and Gal's" this weigh-in

Keep on your plan everyday and weeks to come and you'll have a WIN

Hi Belle

 

Hope you are doing well and life is a little less stressful for you today.:)

 

I have not taken very much exercise this week and so no weight loss - I am just the same as last week. It it not good enough and I know the only person who can fix this is me, so I am going to try extra hard this week.

 

I hope you all have better results to report than me.

No loss for me, but no gain either. I ate out three times this last week, so I am not surprised that I stayed the same.

Trina, good luck next week. I'm right there with you.

Heelo Everyone,

 

Back from my cruise. I gained 3 lbs., not bad. I only made it to the gym once but hubby and I snorkled a lot at every port, skipped bread at dinner, no desserts at lunch and didn't snack in between meals.

 

Belle, congrats on your weight loss, yeah!

 

Stay-the-samers, it's always better than a gain.

Hooray! I had a very bad week last week and gained 2.5. All those cakes proved to be too much temptation. It was with great trepidation that I stepped on the scale today.

I dropped 2 lbs and am back to 154.5!!! Got back on that band wagon and ate like I should as well as having time to exercise again. Always good to remember that one weeks gains does not need to effect your next weeks results.

Really good way to start the new challenge. I had been pretty steady for the past couple of months so maybe I can get back to losing again.

 

winewanderer - Only 3 lbs! Great! I have a cruise and a weeks vacation coming up in December and hope that I do as well.

 

belle- Hope your family is doing well.

Hello all, congratulations to those who lost or stayed the same.

 

I gained two pounds. I haven't changed anything in my diet but I have noticed this happens from time to time and then after a few days it drops back off with an extra pound or two.

Can I join this group? I leave in April for my cruise. I started my weightloss journey Feb 22, 2011 in preperation for a cruise. I was able to come down from a size 24 to an 18. Im currently a 14-16 and hope think my ultimate goal may be 10-12 but its been hard to get there. Ive been at about 217 since June 1st I had gotten down to about 209 and was on my way to my short term goal of under 200 but for some reason now Im a steady 215. Good news is I started at 294. I am refocusing on my diet and exercise as well as proper rest. Im hoping that the scale we began to move. I have a Personal Traniner and I do other things spin, Zumba, insanity, weight training but I had not been doing as much as I should so Im going to start again this week. Lets see where I am in April. I feel like if Im down to around where I want to be I can enjoy what I want on the cruise:)

Your doing so well. Good Job!! Also your

doing great with exercise! Something we all need

to do. Tell us how you eat. Give us some hints,

your doing so well.

 

Things going so-so.. My mother is doing better but

won't do her exercise. Eat better. Sound familar?

She is sleeping more but to be expected.

 

Husband doing as well as he can. I'm just tired!

 

Mother's doc's and husbands doc said take the

cruise..nothing will happen in this time frame.

(but only God knows for sure)

Husbands doc thinks I have caregivers burnout!

Think we will go..keep your fingers crossed.

Trouble is I take some of the problems with me...

Belle, as wonderful as it is that you take such good care of your husband and your mother, sometimes you do have to think of yourself. If you don't, there will be three sick people in your house. Take your cruise and relax as much as you can. You need it and deserve it.

Belle ~ as my DH always says if you're no good to yourself you won't be any good to others so enjoy your cruise.

 

Jan ~ don't know if you're on your 60th Birthday cruise yet but believe birthday wishes are in order! Many happy healthy returns of the day!:D

As you know we have taken some trips

but seems I really need this one.

 

Been 5 1/2 years with Mother and

3 years with husband.

 

It's our Anniversary, so need to go while

he can. Just harder because Mother was

in the hospital. Better now.

 

We're going! No guilt! Given my all. Will still

be be giving for years to come!

Can I join in with you all?

 

Took a cruise last April and lost about 15 lbs (the thought of pics in my bathing suit was good motivation along with being able to stay active with my teens). Slowly gained it back then some with first child off to college and stress and comfort foods.

 

Next cruise is in June. I really need to get back on the right track, including exercise. Have lots of active things planned for this cruise like snorkeling, hiking, zip-lining, etc.

 

Weigh in day is Thursday?
