Krazy Kruizers Posted September 22, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2012 I checked out the cost of Celebrity's alcohol packages. Too expensive for the little we drink. And you have to buy a package for each person -- no sharing.
Rare Keith1010 Posted September 22, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 22, 2012 It can be very pricey. In the end it depends how much each of you drink, Keith
paul929207 Posted September 22, 2012 #6 Share Posted September 22, 2012 Estimate what you will drink each day and get the cost of those drinks on the Celebrity board. Then do the math. For some it is a great deal, but for others a waste of money. It just depend on what and how many drinks you will have.
kitty9 Posted September 22, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 22, 2012 Take a look at what you would drink each day, and see if it adds up for you. Remember to include everything you'd drink during the day including bottled water, fancy coffees and teas, soft drinks, and all other drinks. A lot of this depends on what package you want. If all you want is basically soft drinks, specialty (non-alcohol) coffee and tea, regular bottled water, and some juices then go with the basic package of $14 a day, for a total of $574 USD. If you'd like a bit more in a package, then step up to the Premium non alcohol package that gives you everything that you get in the basic package, but adds premium water, non-alcohol frozen drinks and smoothies. That will cost you $738 per person for your cruise. If you want to include alcohol in your package, you have two choices---Classic Alcohol and Premium Alcohol. With those packages you get everything in the Premium non-alcohol package, plus you get beer up to $5 and alcohol/wine up to $8 a glass. In the Premium package you get everything but the cost you're allowed is $12 a glass/portion. The Classic Alcohol package will cost $1841 and the Premium will run $2214 per person. You cannot bring any alcohol on board except for two bottles of wine Per Cabin, not per person. They strictly enforce that rule.

ThursdaysChild Posted September 23, 2012 #9 Share Posted September 23, 2012 thanks everyone , you have given lots of good hints so ill do some maths to figure it out:) Also, you said it's 41 days...if this is 3 cruises B2B2B, then you should be able to bring on 2 bottles of wine at the embark day of each segment. Or did you mean 14 days?
