Soon, it was time for the Pirates in the Caribbean deck party.

 

 

The deck party, which goes from 9:45pm-10:45pm, starts off with music and the Activities Staff leading everyone in a few dances.

 

 

 

Soon, the characters join in.

Having never seen this show before, I imagined that there were more pirates involved, perhaps a pirate duel of some sort...but there wasn't.

 

Seeing Mickey "fly" above the pool deck was fabulously fun as were the fireworks.

 

 

 

After the deck party, there is a dessert buffet at the Beach Blanket Buffet. DH & I went to take pictures but it was too crowded so we just snapped one at the entrance.

Great photos and trip report - thanks for sharing! We were on the same cruise, and I can see us up on deck 10 in your first Sail Away party photo! We loved our first cruise and can't wait to sail with Disney again. I keep looking at our trip photos and reliving the wonderful memories. Just a note - every stateroom was given the lithograph, but not the Pixar book. I think that was for returning Disney cruisers only.
