welshrich Posted September 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Hi, We just got back from Vision OTS, this was the first time I've ever claimed the 'free spin to win' tokens that are in the coupon book, I notice that there was also $5 matchplay certificates in there, can anyone tell me if they can be redeemed for the machines or only for table play? Thanks.

debshomespun Posted September 25, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2012 We have had very good luck with using the match play. We go to the Roulette table, and watch for a while. Then, we play red or black (high or low) and we have an almost 50/50 chance of winning. They do have the 0 and 00 (which are green) that we could also lose on. We play $5. and if we win, walk away with an extra $10. Makes for some fun time. Many more times than not, we walk away winners! :D
Rare silentbob007 Posted September 25, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2012 They are only for table play ... generally used for blackjack or roulette.

yogimax Posted September 25, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Or play one on red and one on black with a $1 side bet on green and get either $4 or $11 depending on what number hits. This is one strategy, but not the optimal since the side bet on green is a losing proposition by itself. The odds of getting 0 or 00 are 1 in 19, but the payoff only 1 in 17. If you are going to be cruising a lot, it doesn't pay to play the green. If you simply want to absolutely guarantee a win, you play it. Having said that, the WORST strategy is not to use the coupons at all!

That's what I often do; not the most exciting way to gamble, but the only way you are guaranteed to win! Last time I did this one of the pit bosses tried to talk me out of it by saying I was betting against myself. :D

Since I started doing it this way we have hit green 3 times so it works for me.

tazdeb Posted September 25, 2012 #16 Share Posted September 25, 2012 If O hit ten times in a row....what would be the odds of a O hitting on the next spin? 38-1, the wheel has no memory. If the game has 38 possible numbers any one can hit on any spin.
