daiB Posted October 16, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2012 The average cost of a bottle of red as part of a 6 bottle wine package, according to the web site is about £14. Does anyone know what the current price is for a bottle of house red in the MDR? Looking at the P&O website it looks like the cheapest is £12 to £12.50 although not described as house wines. There are quite a few around £13 to £15. In the wine packages the wines tend to be the ones which are £15+ and in the one we get, New World, a mix of red and white there is a one at £18. We pay £85 and with our club discount that comes down by £8.50 to a very nice £76.50. Or £12.70 a bottle. There is a lot of information now on the P&O site which was not there a few years ago. dab1952 Posted October 17, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted October 17, 2012 Many thanks for the info. I think that we will probably wait & buy wine on board. We thought that we would have a 5% discount but with the change to the "Penninsular club" we lost that !!
