FOS 9342 or 9308??

Hi All

 

Have never sailed Freedom before and looking to book tomorrow a back to back in Sept next year. We currently have cabin 9342 on hold which is on the hump. However looking at prices we may go to a D2 instead and cabin 9308 as it's £300 cheaper overall and it's only just down the corridor towards the middle a little more.

 

Can anyone tell me the difference between D1 9342 and a D2 9308 apart from 9342 being located on the hump (which doesn't make any difference to us if not any larger balcony or room size).

 

I can't understand why D2's are in between some D1's yet they are in the same part of the ship and cannot see any difference to justify the price difference???

There is no difference in the size of the cabin or balcony within the D catagory. It's location and number of beds that the number designation represents. The "hump" area is the most convenient location.

9342 is a great hump cabin, as you can see forward and aft without obstruction from its balcony.

 

However, that (and its convenient location) would be about the only difference from 9308.

I think for the saving of £300 I'll switch to the D2 instead. That £300 could pay towards a drinks package :D
