Mike,

 

On your very last day on the Breeze, how long did you stay on the Lido Deck before you left the ship (self-disembarkation)? Since our flight doesn't leave MIA until 3:30 p.m., I was just wondering if it's a problem if you leave whenever you want to leave, or do you have to leave when they call for self-disembarkation?

Thanks for the great review and pics, Mike! Although it's been over a year since you posted this, it was still very informative and time relevant, and really helped to give me an idea of the different areas on the ship.

Like Madmack, we will also be on the Jan 18th sailing of Miracle to Hawaii. We've been on both Pride and Spirit, so we have an idea of how the ship is laid out. Nice to see it from your eyes, though.

Moncton is a beautiful place. I was there several Septembers ago for business, and really enjoyed it.

We were able to stay until 10 am before the called " last call to disembark" :mad::D

Wellllll, actually booked 21 months ago. Does close count? CCL didn't offer booking yet but my TA was able to book for me. You must know though, it's people like you who post reviews that add to the excitement for all of us! Thanks.....

Great review Mike, thanks for sharing. We sailed the Miracle a couple of years ago and it was great remembering. Going back on her in March to Mexico so your review has me anticipating. Now I'll be checking out your other reviews, lovely family. Thanks again.

I'm not sure what you are talking about. This review is over a year old. Can you elaborate.

 

My son won $100 playing 'the vault' on one of the cruise if that's what you are referring to?

That would be it. You mentioned your son and the Vault game, but never came back and said if he had actually won anything.

I just wanted to say thank you Mikey for your great reviews. We are going on our first cruise in September. :D I've been trying to get my boyfriend to go on a cruise for more than ten years, and he is simply not interested. Last year, I went to the Boundary Waters with him and didn't shower and drank lake water for 6 days :eek: (and I reminded him of this when again I mentioned going on a cruise). Guess it's a good thing I went on that canoe trip, because he finally agreed! I am beyond excited!!

 

Anyhow, I've been searching this site for any and all information since I don't know what to expect. Yesterday, I ran across your B2B2B2B review because I was searching for Freedom reviews with pictures. Loved your story! Then saw that you took this cruise to Grand Turk, HMC, and Nassau, and that's where we will be sailing on the Freedom. So I have spent my evening reading this review and loving your pictures.

I have a quick question, and you may or may not have noticed on your travels. (Specifically for the Miracle but any feedback is helpful)

 

On Carnival's website they list Sherbert as a dessert in the MDR, and I remember reading somewhere that it is an option in the Lido Buffet as well, but I cant recall if I read that on their website too or in another cruiser's blog or comments, from who knows how long ago. Do you recall having sherbert available on Lido during lunch?

 

(My mom is bringing a mini blender for her protein drinks and I fully intend to make myself tropical drinks with the fresh fruit in the lido, Sherbert would be a good base if its available ;) )

That would work too. :) darn looks like I'll stick to juice and ice (and occasionally ice cream for milkshakes), I don't recall seeing it on that menu for room service but it wouldn't hurt to ask lol from what I have read I can get OJ, Apple, grapefruit and tomato juice complementary from Room Service if I run out of my stash from breakfast. Thanks for your expertise :D

Upon arrival there was a note for us to call room service to have our freshly prepared, pre-ordered Bon Voyage canapé tray delivered.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We had about 1.5 hours before muster. The plan was to explore the ship, go to muster, followed by meeting the kids in our cabin. We would eat the canapé and unpack the luggage, assuming it had arrived.

 

Just before departure, which was scheduled for 4 pm, we would attend our much anticipated roll call meet & greet. We had approximately 45 persons who had indicated they would be attending the Lido Deck Odyssey Bar after muster. Everyone was encouraged to wear Mardi Gras beads so CC members could be recognized.

 

So off we went, Tracy and I to explore the ship. I had already photographed the upper decks so we started with deck 1 and worked our way up.
