No, the turtle farm has no spot where you can actually swim with the turtles.

Thank you. I had read the excursion description from Carnival wrong I guess. My companions didn't want to swim, but they were afraid of being bitten as well...

There are two tour levels. One that only includes the turtle tanks. The other adds on access to a pool, snorkeling with turtles, an aviary, nature walk, etc. it is all listed on the turtle farm website.

There's also a small waterslide at the pool, the pool is large but shallow, and thee are 2 lifeguards.

The snorkel area has some fish and a few small turtles as mentioned. there's a restaurant on the property next to the snorkel site.

The turtle farm is just a series of holding tanks with turtles confined. There is a croc there and you can hold a small turtle, and there's a small aviary with some interesting birds.

We paid 1/2 price for the full access and we were ready to leave within 1/2 hr, we spent more time at the aviary than anywhere else. But it would be a good trip if you have kids and you've already seen the more interesting areas of GCM. We were staying on the island so we went there, to the dolphin complex across the street, and to Hell a few miles further up the road. If you spend an hour at the farm and 1/2 hr at the other spots you can hit all of these places in a few hrs and still hit the beach on the way back.
