Pre-cruise hotels

Do we have a choice in which hotels we are booked for a Cruisetour? We will be going to London and Paris and I would love to have the best location available. Having not been to either place, it will be hard to know. Does anyone have advice to dispense? :)

With a cruise tour you get what they give you, no option. Pre/post cruise Sea and Stay packages may offer more than one hotel to choose from at various price points. Both the cruise tour and the Sea and Stay programs are priced per person. DIY tours before or after a cruise often are more economical and allow you to do and see what you want but you have to do all the planning as well as looking after luggage, finding restaurants etc. There are good reasons to choose any of these 3 options as well as negatives for each.
