Aren't the "dead head" charges prohibitively high. What do you normally pay for a 1 way trip. Just did a quick ghost reservation with Alamo and the cheapest car was $119.00 before taxes and insurance. We recently booked a 7 day cruise in May on the freedom and I am looking for transportation to Port Canaveral. RCI will not pre-sell you the transfers if you arrive the day prior to your cruise.

Florida has very good one-way rental rates. I normally pay about $55 including tax for a full size car from Avis. I've gotten minivans for about $80 total. Someone posted a few days ago that they got a one-way rental for less than $40, but I don't know what kind of vehicle or rental agency that was.

 

If you have more than once person in your group, the one-way rental is usually a better price than Royal's transfers.

Depends on your budget - I paid for a towncar with Belagio limos and they upgraded us to a stretch limo for both legs!! Bit shameful at the terminal - wanted the ground to swallow me up!! but was such a wonderful experience. Truly an excellent company :-)
