Prices are the same direct or through a TA. Shop around, a TA might offer some additional perks like on board credit or paid gratuities.

I would recommend you book your first cruise with Royal Caribbean through an experienced travel agent. As Clarea said, many travel agents can provide you with extra perks like onboard credit, paid gratuities, or pre-paid specialty dining.

Agree that an experienced TA is the way to go. I've been fortunate to work with the same TA for over 10 years.
