Or what?..

For those of us who are leaving one week from today....

Do you daydream about what you will be doing 'right now one week from today'

EI.."right now one week from today I'll be packing up last minute stuff to leave for the port"..

Later it will be "Right now I'll be getting ready to go to dinner" etc..

I'll be daydreaming like this ALL WEEK! Drives DH nuts!

Am I obsessed?

That train of thought can work to your disadvantage. When you board the ship a week from now, you'll be daydreaming about the cruise being over and having to head back home a week later....:p

Yep leaving on the Conquest next Sunday and have been updating DH all weekend on what will be happening next weekend this time. He finally went to sleep last night and I am still thinking :eek: We are so excited like little kids. I can't tell you how much we enjoy the time watching water go by.

LOL 2 weeks from today we will be boarding the Conquest for our long awaited "doomsday cruise". Three weeks from today, if we survive the whole end of the world, end of the Mayan calendar conspiracy, we will be disembarking and heading home. Like Margie says, it can be a disadvantage also... lol!

So funny, I was just talking to my husband a few minutes ago about what we will be doing this time next week. We decided that we would probably be on the Lido deck eating lunch or having a dod. I reminded him that we would be able to drop off the carry on first since I will be Platinum this cruise and we would not have to carry everything around until 1:30. When I get on the ship though, I stop thinking about this and just enjoy the experience. No, you are not obsessed. If you are, then everyone who cruises is obsessed!!! ;)

Oh yeah..once I'm onboard I don't obsess about ANYTHING..just glad to be there..taking it all in..

Let's see..right now next week..probably Legend Lido..enjoying my buffet lunch..

Let's see, at this time five days from now, I should be seating in the plane on my way to Florida from Philadelphia.

 

At this time six days from now, I should be walking the grounds of Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure trying to decide which ride to go on next.

 

Seven days from now, I should already be on the ship admiring the skyline of downtown Tampa from the top deck.

 

And fourteen days from now, I am probably sitting at the airport sobbing uncontrollably over having to return to work the next day after being dragged off the ship kicking and screaming.

Nah, you're not crazy. That's normal for most cruisers. On the other hand, I'll bet there are very few people that think that way if they're going to visit the in-laws for a week.:rolleyes::D
