Port Everglades to Miami airport

I searched but couldn't find an answer...

 

American has moved my flight from Miami (after the cruise from Port Everglades) up to 10:40am. Is this cutting it too close to make the flight after disembarking?

 

I have always flown into FLL before but this was a free ticket.

 

Do I have time to get there?

Way too close! :eek: It is a 45+ minute drive from Port Everglades to MIA. For a 10:40 flight you need to be at MIA by 9:10, and given it's usual chaos earlier is better! All that means you need to be in a taxi (which will cost you $85+ :() with your bags at Port Everglades NLT 8:30 and pray there are no traffic delays.

 

I would call the airline back, tell them that the change is not acceptable, and find a flight closer to or after noon.
