emeltee Posted December 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2012 We'll be sailing on the Sapphire next July. Trying to figure out dining for my group of 9, who are all decidedly non-formal people! Nights 1-3 are Anchorage, Hubbard, GB Nights 3-6 are Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan Night 7 is a sea day I've read that cruiselines usually don't do formal nights on the last night. So, would the formal nights be only in the beginning of the cruise? 1-3? Which rooms follow formal nights? Obviously the MDR - both traditional & anytime dining. How about specialty? Horizon Court - that's the buffet, right - I'm assuming no formal nights. The IC - no formal nights as well, right? Thanks again!
Rare 1025cruise Posted December 7, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2012 Well, the IC isn't really dining. Normally specialty restaurants don't follow. In terms of when they are, normally on sea days, but not the last. If there are no sea days, look for days with early departures.
