Rita's Cantina special on Allure

I had read somewhere that Rita's offered a special either the first or second day, but now I can't find that info. can anyone share info about this?

Rita's Fiesta is the name of it. I don't recall the price exactly, but it wasn't too bad. Three drink tags on a wristband for your meal and all reports so far say they are decently strong. You can also get the virgin variety if you choose.

 

Haven't had the fun of it yet, but when I reach allure I'm planning to. :)

 

Should be some more folks with better details to add to this.

When we sailed they had the Fiesta a few nights during the week. We went on the first night, don't remember the other options. For a flat price ($20 is sticking in my mind but not positive) you got your meal, dancing on the boardwalk, and 3 drinks. For (again I think) $10 you could just get the meal and the entertainment.

 

Other nights Rita's was open for a la carte dining. We enjoyed it, the food was ok, not great, but it was a nice way to start our cruise and get the party started. Probably wouldn't do it again though.

When your specialty dining shows up there is an option for the Fiesta. Or you can wait and book on board. Of course, they could sell out if you wait.

We went at the end of October. The price was $20 and included 3 alcoholic drinks, food and entertainment. For $10 you get the same but without the alcohol. I did this option. I had a virgin strawberry daiquiri and 2 virgin piña coladas.

 

It was a blast, I would do it again. But definitely not for the food, fun and drinks were great, food mediocre.

I have not read one good comment about the food at Rita's Cantina. Hasn't RCCL gotten a clue that the food needs to be elevated in this dining venue?

Most of us got the margarita's or beer but they let a few get tequila shots.
