123kitties Posted December 13, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2012 Hello, all you great cruisers! Could you tell me how much time I should allow to go from the Casino in Monte Carlo back to the ship? Thanks so much!!! Rhonda
CruiserBruce Posted December 13, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2012 You don't need a bus. If you don't have a mobility issue, it is less than a 30 minute walk.

Rare Hlitner Posted December 17, 2012 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2012 You might want to spend a few extra Euros and use a taxi which can drop you on the pier. The public buses will still leave you with somewhat of a hike back to your ship (assuming that your ship is docked and not tendering). cruisinsince75 Posted December 18, 2012 #5 Share Posted December 18, 2012 Hello, all you great cruisers! Could you tell me how much time I should allow to go from the Casino in Monte Carlo back to the ship? Thanks so much!!!Rhonda My wife also has mobility issues, so I may understand a little better what it is you are looking for. Of course, this is assuming you are docking directly in Monte Carlo and not anchored in Villerfranche. From the dock walk directly to the nearby Bateaux (Boat) Bus. It will ferry you across the harbor to the other side. When you exit the boat, turn right and follow the footpath about 500 meters towards the Ranier III auditorium. You will find elevators and escalators that will take you to the passage way leading over to the Casino. It looks like it is a moving pathway to the other side, so minimal walking. Probably another 300 meters or so to the Casino. Here is the link to the bus route map and timetable, which should help. http://www.cam.mc/documents/1298472237.pdf This map shows you where all the lifts are about town. http://www.monaco.mc/webdav/site/monaco-telecom/shared/_Actu/documents/Monaco%20Malin%202010.pdf You can thank a friend of mine for sharing this with me.
