Time to board the Allure?

At what time do they open the doors to board the Allure? And what time do most people arrive at port to check in? We were on the Allure back in May, arrived at the port by 9'30 am checked in and went up stairs and found there were hundreds of people already there. We like to be there early, can we check in between 8 or 9?? Going back on the Allure in two weeks.. Packing the bags now... THANKS

We were on Allure in October this year. We arrived at terminal 18 FLL at 10:45am and checked in straight away (no queue). We went up stairs to the embarkation area and were seated with other Gold Crown and Anchor members. Boarding started at 11:10am and Gold members were invited to board 11:25am. We were on board by 11:30am!!

On our previous cruise on Oasis in October 2010, we arrived at 11:00am and checked in straight away. When we went upstairs we could board immediately and were on the ship 11:15am.

There is zero reason to be there that early. 10 is about right and you will still wait.

Also, you still wait to wait for your cabin which is nominally not accessible until 1PM. We tried to get to our cabin around 12N and cannot even get anywhere close because the entrance to the hallway (by the elevators/stairs) are closed by doors. They actually opened around 1245PM.

Arrived at port at 9;30 checked in. Doors open at 11am. Had lunch then hit the pool until the cabin opened up at 1. Have some seniors going with us on the trip, just like to have plenty of time .

For me 9:30 is too early. No way do I want to sit bored in the terminal for 90 minutes just waiting for boarding. I cruised Allure for the first time this year, arrived at the terminal at 11:15am and check in took about 10 minutes. Went upstairs and had about a 25 minute wait before boarding started at 11:50am.
