Noise Level in Promenade Cabin - FOS

How is the noise level at night in a 6th floor Promenade cabin on FOS if it not over a bar/club?

I was in a promenade room a few weeks ago on FOS, Deck 7. 7309 to be exact. We didn't hear anything really, if so it was very light-. We slept so well in our room!

I've stayed in Promenade cabins on FoS and LoS.

 

There was pretty much no noise at all! The only time it was loud was during the parades, but it was kind of cool being able to watch them from my room!

I have done Promenade cabins several times and have had noise problems one night. The seas were very rough and there was a light for the shows/parades mounted on the wall outside of our cabin. The light was swaying with the rough seas and sounded like a basketball bouncing off of the wall. It was too rough for anyone to be expected to climb up and do anything about it that night. I feel like that particular incidence was a fluke. It would not stop me from booking a Promenade cabin in the future.

I had a PR cabin once and have booked one for our next cruise. I would look at the deck plan and see what is below you and across from you on the deck below. If the is a bar that has music, there migth be a chance that you could hear something.

we were on 7th deck and the only night that was really loud was the 70's night. YMCA went on forever. :)
