Priority Tendering for Elite status

I understand that one of the benefits of being an Elite Captains Circle member is priority tendering. Can anyone tell me if that also applies when you return to the ship or only when leaving:confused:

Not on the return.

And when using it when tendering ashore, you are entitled to get on the end of whatever line exists at the tender deck you go

Sorry, the tender benefit only helps heading to shore.

Excellent point. We were on a longer cruise some years ago, many elite on board. Standing in line for a tender along comes a couple breezing past everyone flashong their black card. We, along with probably half the line up flash back our black cards. You could see they felt like real idiots.

They were idiots. Why shouldn't they be embarassed.

Returning to the ship is first come, first to board whether it's your first cruise, taken 100 Princess cruises or in a full suite. No priority in the tender line returning to the ship although I've seen people flash their black card and try to push their way to the front.
