Voyager of the Seas - balcony vs junior suite?

Recommended Posts

Looking at booking Voyager of the Seas soon. Has anyone seen and/or able to compare the balcony rooms to a junior suite? What are the differences between superior & deluxe balcony rooms and what is better in the Junior Suite? Is the suite really that much bigger? We are a couple traveling with a 3 year old. We were on Carnival Spirit earlier this year in an extended balcony room and it was quite small for the 3 of us, thinking a JS may suit us better this time round. Any thoughts, experiences or photos would be fantastic! Thanks in advance!

The JS on Voyager is significantly larger than a D or E balcony stateroom, I think about 50% larger. Plus it has a bathtub which might be useful for the 3 year old.

The difference between a superior and a deluxe balcony is the width of a sofa cushion. The superior has a 3 cushion sofa, which sometimes can be opened as a bed, and the deluxe has a two-cushion love seat.

We have sailed in both the deluxe and the superior balcony cabins on Voyager and never found the difference to be significant.
