Camp Carnival: Split Ages

We are cruising soon and our children are 3 and 6. Is Camp Carnival one big playroom, with counselors working with certain age groups, or are there different rooms for different ages? I'm just wondering if my kids will be able to play together, or if they will be separated! Thanks!

Thank you... I did see that, but was curious if it meant they totally separate the kids all day, or if they do some activities together. I saw a "sample" itinerary for one day at Camp Carnival and it looks like 8-11am is just "play time", whereas in the afternoon they have a bunch of activities planned.

 

Since it doesn't appear there are a bunch of rooms for Camp Carnival, I was hoping they'd have some time to play together.

On the sensation I was surprised how SMALL the kids club was. They took the older age group and put them in a conference room so they could play more active games with balls, etc.

 

 

I found this video on youtube that says it is the kids club for Liberty and Freedom and it is huge compared to the Sensation.

We were just on the Glory and the kids room had dividers so they could divide the different age groups or have the room open to one big space. I think there would be times (maybe more times together than separate) for your ages, but I'm not sure. (My kids are a bit older and the only one that really did the activities was my 15 year old after dinner.) My 4 year old nephew used the camp a couple of times but I'm not sure whether he was with mixed ages or not.

Since your kids won't be in there 24/7, a few hours apart won't hurt them! The counselors do age-appropriate activities, so the older one would be bored doing stuff that will interest the younger. They will likely see each other...and they'll have plenty of "family" time with you and each other. No worries!

That is a good point cb at sea. It will probably be very good for them!

 

I was able to see some itinerary's of what the kids do during the day, and that helped me to get a feel for it!
