Port or Starboard for R/T Alaska from Vancouver

In Toronto

Recommended Posts

Yes, I know - What we don't see on northbound, will see on southbound. However, sometimes while in port, one side is nicer than the other. Will not have a balcony this trip so just what we see through the picture window while in cabin.

Any preference?

With no balcony it makes little difference, however I always say that the port side is better.

Honestly, it makes no difference. I've done both sides - several times - and there are only 3 ports, and you don't get a good view of any from an ocean view window. The scenery is fantastic both sides, coming and going.
