massfamilyof4 Posted January 7, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2013 We are trying to do the math on the drink package. Does anyone know the cost of a Miller Light? Also, do they allow you to order a "bucket" with the package...we like to bring a bucket back to the room at the end of the day. Also, do you have to buy the package for everyday you are sailing. I am sure we are not going to be drinking on departure day. So, we are on a 6 night cruise...we pay for 7 days?? Thanks for any insight! PS leaving in a week on the Independence...can't wait!!! MainStreetMouse Posted January 7, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2013 16 oz aluminum Miller Light bottles were $5.25 + 15% tip on a recent cruise I was on. I imagine the package is calculated based on the number of nights you are on the ship rather than the number of days. Cheers! Gary

From feedback from others the package is only available on 7 night or longer cruises. A 6 night cruise will not have the packages available. On cruises that offer it there are 2 different pacakges. The packages must be bought for all persons in the cabin that are legal to drink, and the package includes all days of the cruise. The Premium package includes all beer under $6.75 and most premium brand liqours. If you have this package you should be able to get as many buckets as you like. These packages are a relatively new feature so there maybe some tweaking of it in the future based on customer feedback and $$$$ made by Royal Caribbean. And to answer the actual question Miller Lite would be in the packages.
Merion_Mom Posted January 7, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2013 It is now 4 night sailings or longer. You pay per night, and must pay for all nights.
