Happy Hours?

Any type of drink specials to be found? This is our first RCCL (on the Enchantment) and I've found on other lines that there are specials that don't get a lot of publicity -- people just seem to know about them.

Besides the DOD....Yes there are...Read your Cruise Compass and keep your eyes on the signage in the various bars...Love the "Mojito Madness" ;):)

Yes on the DOD is the drink of the day. Also as noted check your Compass as it will also list when the have margarita Madness as well.

Different ships offer different "happy hours" and not all ships do so. So, yes, watch the daily Compass and ask about specials at various bars. I have seen specials for morning bloody marys, martini "classes", two for one margaritas, etc.

Back from the Enchantment sailing to report that there were no drink specials at all. Exception was the first or second day when there was some discount at one of the venues for cruisers in a category that we didn't fit. There was a DOD and a shot of the day everyday but they were regular price -- only difference was you could keep the glass. I do have a lovely collection of the shooter glasses...but never any drink discount.

A few months ago, Enchantment had 2 for 1 Margaritas in the afternoon every day.

I think it was 3:00-4:00 in the Boleros.

 

It was advertized in the Cruise Compass

On Freedom, there was a margarita happy hour at the On Air bar. 2for1, we loved it. We enjoyed it basically every day and the bartenders definitely got to know us.
