OGCFreddie Posted January 15, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 15, 2013 Must be something Cruise Critic is doing, changing or updating. Even when I try to search for past posts from individual users, I get the message that the search function has been disabled.
reallyitsmema Posted January 15, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2013 It's seems to have disappeared? They are having issues with the board. There is a sticky about it. Here is a link. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/announcement.php?f=83&a=
Moonlitherial Posted January 15, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 15, 2013 They've been having issues with it - here's a cut and paste from another message on how to search in the meantime. Both until the search function is back up and even afterwards since it is sometimes more efficient. I've bolded the information that actually ends up in the search bar. Go to www.google.com In the search bar enter: site:boards.cruisecritic.com drink package If you want to limit it to just this forum it would be site:boards.cruisecritic.com drink package + "Royal Caribbean International" You can search by user name site:boards.cruisecritic.com inanchor:"Moonlitherial" by recent threads (the last letter is d for day, w for week, m for month or y for year) site:boards.cruisecritic.com&tbs=qdr:w And you can combine any or all of the conditions up to the 32 word query limit that google has. site:boards.cruisecritic.com&tbs=qdr:w drink package + "Royal Caribbean International" There are about a million other commands you can use but they get increasingly complicated. If you're interested in more there is a youtube video and a google guide to assist. This also takes the stress of searching off the sites servers, so it helps keep the forums stable :D
