Princess in Stockholm

Most of the Princess ships dock at Frihamnen or Vartahamnen in Stockholm. Did Princess offer a shuttle service into the city center? I've read about the HOHO bus and public transportation. But I'm curious if Princess provides a shuttle (even at a price) for those passengers who want to explore on their own...especially from Vartahamnen since it has no tourist office.

Fog prevented us from arriving in Stockholm in May '10 but they did tender us to Nynashamm. They had a bus available for the 45 minute drive but it wasn't free. Hopefully fog won't affect you but I've read that it's a possibility & when it happens a paid bus ride would probably be an option.

When we docked in Stockholm there was no shuttle bus. Public busses were available about one block from the port entrance.

 

Our berth was at S167 STADSGÅRDEN.

You were lucky to dock at Stadsgarden. From what I understand, that is already at the town center area.

It's about 2 miles from the Royal Palace which I consider to be the town center area.
