sunflower46 Posted January 29, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2013 Good afternoon Geospyder. Thanks for the gentile reminder to sign up on Cruise Connections. I have just done that but it says that only 12 people are signed on! May not have a meet & greet? We can hope - a few months left.
Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted January 30, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2013 So, as long as we're here: what is the deal about Captain's Club cruises? How are they special?

C 2 C Posted April 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted April 22, 2013 Very disappointing. We have been on three of these. A On the first there was a special gift almost every day of the cruise. On the third there was practically nothing to distinguish it from any other cruise. We were on the inaugural Solstice as well as the inaugural Reflection cruise. On the latter there was absolutely nothing, not even a postcard stating that we were on the first Reflection cruise. If you like the itinerary, book the cruise but don't expect anything special as a result of being on a Captain's Club cruise. Sorry.. you might get a free excursion as a result... It's not that I'm bitter, just disappointed how the special sailing deteriorated over time.

We were looking at the itinerary first and then came across a note about this being a Reunion Cruise. Both 'Reservations' and "Captain's Club' at Celebrity could tell me nothing more than a free 2.5 hr. excursion in Reykiavik. Pretty poor on Celebrity's part - either do something to make it a Reunion Cruise or don't call it by that name!
