$300 Internet bill from Belize

I am sure I told AT&T where I was going and they gave me an international data plan but then for four hours of often on Internet in Belize they said it's going to cost me $300. Any suggestions the bill has been incurred and I have turned data roaming off now

I definitely well. They say there is nothing they can do for me but what has been the experience from before. I am sure this happens every single day because Beliz is probably on their own

Just turning the stupid things off usually solves the problem 100% of the time.

If you call them they will usually let you add an appropriate plan to cover it and back date it. I do this all the time with company phones.

We pay an international Blackberry surcharge of about 40 euros per month and that includes unlimited data anywhere in the world.

 

I've heard AT&T in the U.S. kills its customers for international data charges.

 

However, your unlimited national voice, text and data plans are far cheaper for you in the United State than for us in Europe so maybe they are making up for lost profits when it comes to international data roaming.
