Rare NorbertsNiece Posted February 3, 2013 #27 Share Posted February 3, 2013 Does Allure have separate MDR menus for each week, so those doing B2Bs don't see repeat menus? No..... but there's plenty on the menu to choose something different. Plus you may go to a specialty restaurant (or 2) or Johnny Rockets or WJ one night..... or 2.... woehwdy Posted February 3, 2013 #28 Share Posted February 3, 2013 Hi Patti! We are doing a B2B on the Vision in June, From Copenhagen. I think we will want to relish the quiet time before the other pax embark as the second half is the Baltics. I didn't know we would have to leave the ship and fill out new health forms. We have the same cabin for both. You leave the ship for security reasons.
Brandis Posted February 4, 2013 #29 Share Posted February 4, 2013 You leave the ship for security reasons. Is this a general rule with RCL? Or maybe just a requirement in US ports? We did a B2B on NCL last summer from Venice and what I liked most with their B2B process was that everything for the second cruise was handled on board late in the first week, so by turnaround day we were already checked in for the second week, even had our new ship IDs / room keys and were free to do on that day what we wanted, some left the ship only quickly, some even stayed on and those who kept the same cabin even could sleep in as long as they wanted. On a side note, they were very aware that many people did B2Bs and even the dining room menu was on a 2 week "schedule", so we got to see a completely new menu for our second week on board. Clarea Posted February 4, 2013 #30 Share Posted February 4, 2013 Is this a general rule with RCL? Or maybe just a requirement in US ports?.... The requirement to leave the ship is up to federal government procedures which may vary by port. Frr example, in Tampa, Florida, sometimes the government officials come onto the ship between cruises and allow the B2B guests to stay on board.
