...reminiscing and telling our story. We laugh everytime. We love to cruise and never truly paid attention to the loyalty programs on any of the cruiselines.

A few years ago before our introduction to Cruise Critic, we were on the inaugural sailing of the Allure. We were walking by the jazz club when we saw some delicious looking food being offered inside. On our way in, we were stopped by a nicely dressed crew staff who said: "This is for Diamond members only". Embarrased and confused, my wife and I shrugged our shoulders, and politely asked: "What are Diamonds?". The crew staff then asked to see our cruisecards....then said: "Oh, you're both Diamonds!".

We've enjoyed and learned more about the perks...thanks to Cruise Critic and its experienced members. Regrettably, we sure missed out on a lot of perks. :)
