You know just what I have said .....when you use the poll form readers with favortie lines with many more vessels then smaller lines like DCL.the results are always for their lines.........like RCCL.......Poll the same number of passingers for each line the result will be different.

I have no idea what you are saying considering the link you provided in post #18 actually references the findings from the lists I posted.

 

I don't disagree with you that DCL is very good at what they do and I and looking forward to our cruise on the Dream in a couple of weeks but I refuse to drink the cool-aid of any one line. If you make a claim that they are head and shoulders above the others, you should be able to back it up. Other than your own personal opinion, you can't.

OP, sorry to derail your thread but when people make claims that are not true I feel the need to address them. Some people have a hard time distinguishing between their opinion and what is fact. Even when you show them multiple sources that shows they are wrong.

 

I have nothing against DCL and I agreed with your assessment as to why they cost more; no casino, less reliance on alcohol and the higher price they can charge because of the premium Disney brand.

I think you should go read them again. As to them not being factual, I think Conde Nast would have an issue with you. They seem to be a well respected publication to me.

No problem, My orginial point was that DCL is more expensive becuase it costs more to give the thier specail type of over the top vessels, service, shows, better crew to passingers ratios of service and cabins, basicly the

As for your Carnival comments, I won't respond as your hatred for Carnival is well documented so their really isn't any point and this thread is about DCL.

 

As has been pointed out the chief reasons for the price difference would seem to be the lack of casinos and the premium price you pay for the Disney brand.

OMG what was I thinking! Of course you are right. How could I have ever thought that industry would be able to rank itself? You really should get a job in the cruise industry so everyone can have the benefit of your opinion.
