shelly11 Posted February 12, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2013 Just got the email that the dash sale is on again until Friday! Great I'm booking today!:D http://www.ncl.com/promo/wave-dash

zanzibargirl Posted February 12, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2013 What kinds of things are in the e-coupon book?
camz Posted February 12, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2013 Wish we could take advantage of that sale. However, we have a very old dog (13) who can no longer be left while we are away so we cannot book anything at this time.
sthelder Posted February 12, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2013 Hi, thanks for the news. I have tried to look up the deal, but am I right that this promotion has nothing in store for a transcanal cruise? :(
mom2tcdx2 Posted February 12, 2013 #6 Share Posted February 12, 2013 I wish their sales actually showed something on sale. Every cruise I have looked at has been the same prices at every dale. Never really know when their sale is really a sale. Now if they would just do something with the pricing on the Breakaway Transatlantic cruise. I am hoping that with the # of cabins still showing available perhaps some price drops will occur, though they haven't yet.
shelly11 Posted February 12, 2013 Author #7 Share Posted February 12, 2013 It's usually the same thing....1/2 price deposit (which i love), on board credit, coupon book, etc. I had a date in mind already and just booked so I'm happy! The coupon book is usually discounts on dining, spa, photos, etc. I haven't seen the link for this years yet.
Love my butler Posted February 12, 2013 #8 Share Posted February 12, 2013 What kinds of things are in the e-coupon book? Most agree it is virtually worthless.
shelly11 Posted February 12, 2013 Author #9 Share Posted February 12, 2013 Most agree it is virtually worthless. I think over 3 cruises I've only used 2 coupons but it's nice to have the option to use them if it's something you're going to do anyway.
kylenyc Posted February 13, 2013 #10 Share Posted February 13, 2013 I rebooked today but only because the small OBC from the Dash Sale was combinable with a new $50 OBC offer from Mastercard. Anything less and I wouldn't have bothered but hey ... it's a few drinks, specialty restaurant, or excursion. Sorry can't mention the TA but it's one of the major online ones. And the price of my cabin didn't change a penny from a month ago.
BlueLadyBlue Posted February 13, 2013 #11 Share Posted February 13, 2013 Camz = Love that you love your dog enough to give up cruising to make it happy. Ours, I still miss her, was almost 17 when she passed. She was a treasured gift.
Cruiser Bruiser Posted February 13, 2013 #12 Share Posted February 13, 2013 No price drops for my 3 booked cruises. But thanks for the reminder to do the weekly price check! In fact, prices went up on two of them. :p

kylenyc Posted February 13, 2013 #14 Share Posted February 13, 2013 I'll get $50 OBC from Mastercard ... Edit: Found the details... Up to $300 OBC based on sliding scale and cruise cost. Ex: $25 OBC for $500-$999 cruise, $50 OBC for $1000-1999, $100 OBC for $2000-$2999, etc. when booked using MasterCard for cruises between 02/01/2013 and 12/31/2013. It can be combined with the Norwegian's Dash Sale. Deposit, final payment and any interim payments must be made using Mastercard. Valid for new booking made between 01/08/2013 and 02/28/2013. Rare ttnc4me Posted February 13, 2013 #15 Share Posted February 13, 2013 Is there a link? I have my cruise booked but I haven't paid for it yet, so I have no credit card associated with it so far.
kylenyc Posted February 13, 2013 #16 Share Posted February 13, 2013 Sorry no. I was by a major online TA when I went to book. Cruise Critic doesn't allow posting of TA information. Call a few of the major ones and you'll eventually find info about it. Search $300 on board credit with mastercard and you'll find the ones offering it. Mysticks1 Posted February 13, 2013 #17 Share Posted February 13, 2013 I had booked on a previous Dash sale, how do you know if you will receive a coupon book? This is our first cruise booked with NCL. My booking shows that I have $50 OBC and shows the Dash Sale promotion.
kylenyc Posted February 13, 2013 #18 Share Posted February 13, 2013 It's in a link in the eDocs. Here is the link to the coupons for my upcoming trip: http://www.ncl.com/csimages/938/568/OnboardCoupons2013.pdf Go to ncl.com and click "Log in to My NCL". If you already created an account, log in otherwise click "Look Up Reservation". We make final payment next week so I haven't completed our check in yet. We might use one of the internet coupons but most of those we wouldn't use.
