jasm8449 Posted August 11, 2016 #26 Share Posted August 11, 2016 Thanks for your response. I am aware that the 4&5 night specialty dining packages do not include drinks. But on another thread someone mentioned Bacio was included in the Ultimate package. Since pastries are free there I was wondering if they meant coffee drinks. I didn't think so but thought I'd ask. Thx for confirming!
jg51 Posted August 12, 2016 #27 Share Posted August 12, 2016 Contrary to some early (2013) posts in this thread ... (1) the unlimited specialty dining package cannot be purchased in advance, but only upon boarding, ... (2) it no longer includes any breakfasts, ... and (3) it can be used at Sushi On 5, which replaced Bistro On 5.
Softball20 Posted August 12, 2016 #28 Share Posted August 12, 2016 We are sailing on the Reflection next year, and I'm curious about this ultimate dining package. I know the thread was started a while ago - are the prices still current? Since it cannot be purchased until we are on board, I'm assuming we can use our OBC for it. Do you know whether this can only be purchased on embarkation day - or is it possible to buy it a few days into the cruise? Thank you
Cruise a holic Posted August 12, 2016 #30 Share Posted August 12, 2016 As far as I know, embarking only. Also allegedly only a limited number of these packages are available. We enjoy on S class ships, especially reflection and Silhouette. We will also purchase on our eclipse cruise.
Mulege Posted August 12, 2016 #31 Share Posted August 12, 2016 How does the package work in Sushi on Five since it is al a carte? Can you eat as much sushi as you want?
Cruise a holic Posted August 13, 2016 #32 Share Posted August 13, 2016 You can eat all the sushi you want. We had appetizers at sushi on five and dinner at the lawn grill. A great package
Mulege Posted August 13, 2016 #33 Share Posted August 13, 2016 Would this package be a good deal on Equinox since she does not have Porch or Lawn Club?
Cruise a holic Posted August 13, 2016 #34 Share Posted August 13, 2016 Of course you have less choice, but you would have to decide
Mulege Posted August 26, 2016 #35 Share Posted August 26, 2016 Do you tip extra each night with UDP? Generally how much?
dutchclogs Posted August 26, 2016 #36 Share Posted August 26, 2016 So how does it work with the wine pairing menu? Do you have to pay the full amount, even if you also have a premium drinks package?
greydog Posted August 26, 2016 #37 Share Posted August 26, 2016 So how does it work with the wine pairing menu? Do you have to pay the full amount, even if you also have a premium drinks package? I think I saw a reduced price if you had bev pkg - you'll have to inquire at your sailing.
