Fairbanks Princess/SALMON BAKE??

We did the Alaskan Bake two years ago. We were there before Memorial Day and the cost was only $10.95 and after that date it was $25. Now is seems to be $30. We got some salmon, cod, or halibut and then a salad bar. This is all done in the outdoors and then you get a table inside to eat (which was extremely crowded). Sometimes they put on a musical but your advertisement doesn't seem to mention it. Personally, for $10.95 it wasn't bad, but for $30, that seems too steep for me.

This is at Pioneer Park, the salmon bake is good, but it is now over run with endless tour buses and big crowds. A major factor that will have me not going any longer, is no exchange of dirty plates, so you have repeaters up at the buffet lines contaminating the food. Last year, I went ONLY immediately after it opened, and way before the buses showed up. The show at the Palace Theater is one of my favorites. This year I'll probably go to the Ester salmon bake since it is smaller.
