Sports drinks onboard?

My husband takes blood pressure medication and has trouble with the heat and the doctor has suggested he drink a sports drink during those times.

 

Does the ship have anything available like Gatorade or Powerade? Can we bring some onboard?

I would definitely bring your own and get your doctor to back you up with a letter to that effect :)

I would get a note from the Dr. and bring a case on board with you! Should not have any issues if they are factory sealed.

We take to Gatorade powder with us and just mix with water. We just take a couple of sport water bottles with us. Helps with the heat for me and also after a long day/night of drinking.

I'm pretty sure you can get them in powdered for to mix with water on board. Much easier to travel with.

I was thinking of the dr's note as well.

I think Powerade is an option from the freestyle machines, if you buy a soda package. At least that is what I can tell from pictures people have posted in their reviews. Can someone who has sailed recently, confirm?
