Yet another dining question...

First off what is the dress code for the Steakhouse? I am assuming that for men, dress pants and an Oxford shirt is good enough. I hope I don't need a suit...

I am on a nine day Med cruise. Carnival.com really doesn't say, but I assume there are a couple of "formal" nights. Again, for men dress pants and an Oxford shirt???

Any other "themed nights"? (No Disney Pirate Night on this cruise, arrrgh) :p

The attire for the steakhouse on a given night is the same as for the MDR on that same night. So if, for example, it's "cruise casual" in the MDR then it's likewise in the steakhouse. What you're suggesting is fine - no suits needed anytime in the steakhouse or MDR.

Yes what you suggest is fine for the main dining rooms. I think you need a jacket for the steakhouse.

I have never needed a jacket for the steakhouse, have been on a few different ships. I would recommend that khakis and a nice polo shirt if you want to dress less formal than a jacket
