Rare cr8tiv1 Posted February 28, 2013 #26 Share Posted February 28, 2013 Just returned from a voyage on the Golden in a suite. We had wonderful pillow top beds (no egg crates needed) and soft bamboo sheets (ask for a top sheet since most only come with a comforter). We had chocolate covered strawberries every evening (one night had white chocolate). We exchanged out our mini-bar for cognac and Perrier. Breakfast at Sabatini's was superb. caribill Posted March 1, 2013 #27 Share Posted March 1, 2013 Is it booked as one cruise or two cruises separately? If you are booked as a 14 day cruise you will only get one set of perks. if two bookings you get two sets of perks. This would only apply to mini bar set up. If only one booking you would not get to Platinum till the end of the cruise Not so. Even if booked as a single cruise, a B2B will get you a mini-bar setup for each segment. caribill Posted March 1, 2013 #28 Share Posted March 1, 2013 The only platinum perks are internet minutes and priority boarding. Elites also get those perks (more minutes and boarding before platinum). Elite and platuinum Internet minute benefits are identical.
caribill Posted March 1, 2013 #29 Share Posted March 1, 2013 I see all the suite perks but am still a little confused. Do we get the complimentary laundry service for being in the suite? I know we get it when we turn Platinum. No laundry benefit for being platinum. You need to be elite (or in a full suite).
