sam49 Posted February 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2013 We have a nine night cruise from New Jersey on Explorer of the seas in the summer. When the cruise ends we have a flight from Newarke to the UK but it doesn't leave until 6 pm! So my question is how long can we stay on explorer will they expect us off by say 10am? Any suggestions for things we could do then until we go to the airport bearing in mind we will have lots of luggage with us. Thamks in advance for any advice. bearjr Posted February 28, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2013 You may check to see if there's an excursion/tour that takes you around town and drop you off at the airport by 3/4pm. The luggage stays inside the tour bus and travels with you to the airport.
LovesCruising Posted March 1, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2013 They will pretty much want you off the ship asap. Other than an excursion there is not much to do in that area other than possibly going to a local mall to shop or going into NYC. Sorry.

Check for a possible excursion or a day room at one of the airport hotels.
