Things To Do On A Second Visit

We will be a group of 10 ranging in age from 20-73. All can get around without any issues, although I don't think some of us will be rock climbing....

Most of us will be visiting this great island for a second time. First time around, we did the usual typical "island tour" This time we want something a little different, say about 3-4 hours long, followed by beach time of about 2 hours and of course some shopping.

What would you recommend?????? We don't have an issue re-visiting some of the top things to seeand do, but would also like to do things that we did not have time for on our first visit.

Thank you in advance,

You may want to consider Pigeon Island and/or Rodney Bay area this time. PI is a national park with a nice little beach, ruins to wander through from British rule, small maritime museum and some hiking, along with restaurants for a bite.

RB itself has long stretch of beach with chair/umbrella rental, lots of different restaurants and bars, watersports for hire, and what shopping there is on the island.

St. Lucia is not a shopping destination like St. Maarten or St. Thomas, we have little in the way of bargains or discounts - or high end or name brands for that matter. We do have a great craft & food market recently rated #3 food market in the world by NatGeo, and is right across from the ports.

Hope that helps, enjoy!

thanks reedprincess,

last time we had Cosol take us on an island tour and it was the BEST tour we have EVER had.

We may use him again, but don't want to see the same sites etc.

We did love all the food he provided us and would like to see other parts of this beautiful island - plus enjoy all his food again.

That is the only tour Cosol offers, the land tour to the sights in the south. If you wanted him for a private tour, it would cost big bucks, and would probably not be as good as A) you've already seen the main sights and B) he doesn't do any other tour regularly, so it would be choppy, etc - and his food people are geared towards his daily tour!!

Unless you do the same tour with him again, to the same places, I wouldn't count on him to offer something else. That is what he does!

Serenity TVL may be a good tour provider option for you guys - they have a wide range of tour options, including Pigeon Island as a tour as opposed to on your own, and are an excellent full service tour provider.

Good luck deciding what to do.
