Rare LewiLewi Posted March 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Has anyone stayed in this cabin before? What is next door forward of this cabin, the deck plan shows a large empty space. Is it a quiet cabin and is the larger balcony worthwhile; will your steward put a lounge chair on it? Thank you.

This photograph illustrates the starboard side of the ship, but the blue line runs at the level of the floor of Deck 7, and the veranda of cabin 7001 is just above the second "A" in Marina. The Steward will happily put a lounge chair (or two) on the veranda if you request it. (Tipping Alert). :D

gigianne Posted March 3, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Is that balcony fully covered overhead - or partially because of the depth?

JimandStan Posted March 4, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2013 Partial yes, BUT for cabins 7000 and 7001 only, about 75% of the veranda is covered. This is the Port side, so the veranda of cabin 7000 is just above the first "R" in Riviera. Note how Deck 8 angles out over that forward-most veranda. The remainder of the extended veranda cabins are only about 15% covered. This screen shot is a little dark, but illustrates Deck 7 forward, beautifully.
