Drinks on Solstice

Recommended Posts

Wines start about $7 per glass. Bottles about $27

Beers start at $5

Martinis $11( and v strong;)

Spirits $8

Those prices include gratuities.

You can also pre pay for drink packages. We prepaid for the 7 bottle wine package and the selection was pretty good.

Do a search of the Celebrity forum and there are threads with spreadsheets and all the prices.:D

We just sailed from Auckland to Perth in Jan/Feb 2013. Loved every minute on the Solstice and have booked for 23 Oct 2013. Drink prices listed ny Lizzie77 about right. We went for the beverage package and thought it was worth being able to drink what you like without worrying about the surprise bill at the end of the cruise.

We love Celebrity, and most recently did B2B with them - Sydney to Auckland, Auckland to Perth. We have found that there is NO drink package that works for us. Each package is PER PERSON, not per cabin......you would have to drink A LOT OF ALCOHOL, to make any of them worth it - critically, drinks at the Martini Bar or the Molecular Bar, which are $13-ish per drink are NOT included in the package - unless, I think, you buy the most expensive package. And if you sail Aqua Class or I believe even in Concierge Class, water bottles are given to you in your cabin every day, included in the cost of the cabin - there is no financial benefit to any of the drink packages in our opinion. How much coffee at Cafe al Bacio, how many drinks, etc, can one consume. And the sodas, urgh, no one drinks sugared sodas anymore. Nope, not worth it. We have sailed Celebrity often and our per drink cost is ALWAYS less than any package, and we do love our wine and our premium cocktails, trust me.
