Hi, all...We are sailing Ruby on Sept 9 from Rome to Venice. If we bring our surplus GB Pounds will the machines onboard convert them to Euros?

Perhaps our British friends will have an answer.

Machines will not, but the Purser's Desk will.

If you have surplus £, you can also use them to pay down your onboard account as long as they are bills, not coins. Keep in mind that the exchange rate they give you no matter what is awful. :(

Agree on the poor exchange rate. And there will be a per transaction charge at the currency exchange machine.

 

Might be best to find someone from the UK who wants to convert Euros back to £.
