Set Sail Pass

Recommended Posts

I was reading forums here on CC where people who forgot to bring their Set Sail Pass had to fill out the forms again at the port. I think this is so archaic because with airlines if I forget to print my boarding pass they will print it out at the ticket counter. It makes it hard for the agent to read your form. Lets say you cannot write etc. I think the agent should just swipe your ID or passport and ask you the questions for checkin. The agent has your Credit Card already and just needs to update it and your Billing Address should already be on file.

It is so simple to just bring your passport or ID and when they swipe your passport or enter in your Birth Certificate # your reservation pops up just like at the airport kiosks where you swipe your passport your reservation pops up.

I think RCCL IT needs to work something out because clearly when you fill out your Set and Sail info and have your Crown and Anchor site linked all the info should be saved to the computer. Even rental car agencies have your reservation info saved.

If someone here from RCCL IT or Corporate Office reads this form please work on this. Even with your E-Docs you don't need to bring them with you so the same should go for your Set Sail Pass.

When you enter the terminal even if you showed your passport or other ID the security person could swipe it and your reservation would show up.

I want to hear what is your take on this

You don't have to fill out anything but the health form. Even if you forget the set sail pass, all you hand them is your passport and drivers license, they have everything they need. I have done it before. It is just as you say....
