IttaBit Posted April 9, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2013 I'm booked on the AOS, deck 12, rooms 12282 and 12284. It looks like the rooms are right outside the Concierge Lounge, more across from a set of stairs. Do you think this will be a noisy spot? Should I change? The opening to the guest stairs and elevator lobbies is up by 12268. There is no entrance to the Concierge Lounge near you. The CL entrance is in the center, between the elevator lobbies. Merion_Mom Posted April 9, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2013 No noise problems there. And you have a great "public" balcony at the end of the hall.
IttaBit Posted April 9, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted April 9, 2013 Thank you for the response. I wasn't sure looking at the deck plan.
alangford03 Posted February 26, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 26, 2015 we are booked for those exact two rooms for the Thanksgiving cruise this year. How did they work out for you?

Clarea Posted February 26, 2015 #7 Share Posted February 26, 2015 Is there another "public" balcony on Deck 11? Yes, right now, there still are public balconies, but they will be removed during dry dock.
laedw Posted February 26, 2015 #8 Share Posted February 26, 2015 Thanks, Bob. Port or starboard? I also want to thank you for your tips -- you are always on point!
HawkLS Posted February 26, 2015 #9 Share Posted February 26, 2015 Thanks, Bob. Port or starboard? I also want to thank you for your tips -- you are always on point! I'm not Bob... but you'll have "public balconies" on both sides of deck 11.
Clarea Posted February 26, 2015 #10 Share Posted February 26, 2015 (edited) Thanks, Bob. Port or starboard? I also want to thank you for your tips -- you are always on point! The aft public balconies are on both sides of decks 11, 12, and 14. There is a forward observation area over the bridge wings that is accessible only via the port side passenger corridor. I believe that will still be around after dry dock, but I would not bet on it. Edited February 26, 2015 by clarea
