Where to buy formal in size 16 women petite

Hi. I am trying to find a cruise formal dress in size 16 WP. I tried on one style at David's Bridal and the fit was perfect,but the beige color was terrible on me. Any suggestions for this size formal (long) dress suitable for a mature woman? I am looking for something like a mother of the bride dress.

You might check online and see if the dress you liked could be ordered in another color. I'm surprised they didn't offer that.

I have found dresses in that size at Dillards.

Thanks for your help. I will try Dillard's. I am disappointed in the slim choices in this size.

I was just in JC Penny yesterday and they had some formal dresses for prom season I'm guessing. I also use that size and they had some pretty nice ones.

A friend found a beautiful gown on Amazon. We were skeptical, but were pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It was under $100. She is a size 20 the dress needed a hem & press, but the quality was great.
