It's carnivals fault. If there is a whale tail in the vicinity it has to be blamed on carnival. How does that sound? I'm trying to get a job at CNN. Lol in all seriousness prayers for all those injured in the blast.

Wait, you mean it wasn't Bush's fault?

I just realized I accused CNN of doing what the OP did with his way overly dramatic thread title.

Overly Dramatic?

I am just quoting WHAT HAPPENED.

people need to keep informed what happened.

I want to know what you would have titled this?

I feel sorry for all the workers being so close.

I can not fathom having to live through that, with everything else going on.

Homes 30 miles away felt it, the poor workers around that, must have, even inside ships.

I am sure by now we would have heard if Triumph was damaged, so that is a bit of luck.

Some would argue that 10 exclamation marks is a tad over the top.

That's 1 exclamation mark per 100 feet the ship was away from actual real danger.

You quoted PART of what happened, you took a little piece of the story and ran with it. What really happened was there were multiple explosions and there was a 1 mile radius evacuation. NOT just the triumph

Well this is the Carnival Board, so I put what was important to this board.

I bet the people on her next cruise, would like to keep up with what is happening.

This explosion happened 1000 feet away not a mile.

While yes others where evacuated, people here want to know about Carnival.

Anyone know if they are letting workers back on baord?

"As a result of a fire on barges in the Mobile River late Wednesday evening, approximately a half mile from the Alabama Cruise Terminal in Mobile, Ala., where the Carnival Triumph is docked for repairs, contractors and crew on the ship were evacuated at the request of local authorities in an abundance of caution," according to a statement issued Thursday morning from Carnival spokesman Vance Gulliksen.

Gulliksen said there were no injuries to those on board the ship and no damage to the vessel.

"All workers were cleared to return to the ship earlier this morning," Gulliksen said. "The repair schedule for the Carnival Triumph remains unchanged and the ship is scheduled to resume service from Galveston, Texas, on June 13."
