sprite.4 Posted April 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2013 You will want a power strip as there is only one outlet you can use on the dresser-top. If I remember correctly, the one outlet in the bathroom only works if the light is on.

I bought the Belkin Mini Outlet, that has two usb ports and 3 outlets, per the recommendation of someone on the board. Do you think this will work just as well?? KatPem Posted April 25, 2013 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2013 What about a lanyard if you are wanting to use one for your sign and sail cards, we found it really helpful. Also, duct tape? I found duct tape sheets to throw in my suitcase. There is a CVS right down the road from the Terminal in San Juan (walking distance, maybe 5 minutes) in case you think of anything you miss or want to grab toiletries there. PortSideCruzan Posted April 25, 2013 #7 Share Posted April 25, 2013 Hi Jvitatoe26, :) I see you listed credit & debit cards. Don't forget to phone them to give them a 'vacation notification request' along with itinerary in effort to avoid a card getting blocked while on holiday. I also see you have bug spray listed as a preventative; may be wise to consider bug bite stuff as well, for when a bite has occurred. :)
Gemynii Posted April 25, 2013 #8 Share Posted April 25, 2013 Diurex OTC water pills - I took them, DH did not. I didn't have much swelling, his feet looked like balloons. I see you listed nausea meds. The chewable Pepto tablets are great to take along. Pop-up laundry basket or laundry bag (normally available at a dollar store) Travel-size air freshener. * I have a list of items that came in handy for our cruise on the very 1st post of my review if you're interested. Have a great cruise!

beckyk329 Posted April 25, 2013 #12 Share Posted April 25, 2013 I'd leave the beach towels at home. Carnival will provide you a clean one everyday, if you want. Especially if you're flying, don't waste that space;) Have fun
Hockey Addict Posted April 25, 2013 #13 Share Posted April 25, 2013 Looks good! I always take a needle and thread too just in cast. I have never used it but the time I don't take it, I will need it. We also take a bungy cord for the balcony door. Some nights we will prop the door open for a little bit before we doze off. What is a sunscreen stick? I haven't seen them. Is it for your face? Is it a hard or soft compound? Like Chapstick or softer? It's funny, I live in fl but have never seen one in a store!

jvitatoe26 Posted April 25, 2013 Author #16 Share Posted April 25, 2013 I'd leave the beach towels at home. Carnival will provide you a clean one everyday, if you want. Especially if you're flying, don't waste that space;) Have fun I have the beach towels on there as I have read here that the Carnival ones are really think and cumbersome to take along with you in port. If this is not true, I will def leave them at home!
